Events

We give special thanks to the Ivy Glades Social Committee for all their hard work and effort. This team plans and organizes all social activities for our community. Committee members deliver event flyers to each resident’s home personally. Events are also publicized through HOA-generated email messages and in our residents-only Facebook Group. Annual events include:

  • Easter Egg Hunt – a family-friendly event held at the children’s playground usually on the second Saturday before Easter Sunday. Children of Ivy Glades residents are welcome, including the grand kids!
  • Community Socials in the Common Areas – residents bring lawn chairs and refreshments to hear early evening music serenades by local artists. Summer fun for the whole family.
  • Harvest Event – past community celebrations take place in the playground and include German Fest and Fall Festival, with prepared food, pot luck dishes and games for “kids” of all ages.
  • Ivy Glades Holiday Party – an adults-only soiree to celebrate the season, with a cocktail hour, appetizers and dinner. This event takes place in December at a location inside the Ivy Glades community, and non-perishable food donations are collected at the party for local food programs.
